There's a
Scientology Volunteer Ministers cavalcade in Slovakia right now. Slovakia is one of the most recent countries to join the European Union and at this point there are no Scientology churches in that country.
Having the cavalcade there is an important step, because the volunteers are introducing Scientology to the people of the country.
Since Scientology is based completely on the written and recorded works of L. Ron Hubbard, having Ron's works translated into the language of the country is an essential part of bringing the religion to the people of that area. The booklets you see on the table above here are chapters of the
Scientology Handbook which have been translated into Slovakian. That's an important first step.
There's a pretty big translation unit in Copenhagen, which is the European headquarters of the Church, and smaller ones in various other cities in Europe, which are manned by volunteers.
Translations of Ron's works are a labor of love.
Since AOSH Europe serves all European Scientologists most of the staff there speak many languages. I'm sure if there are not already staff who speak Slovakian now, there will be soon, as anyone coming there for auditing (Scientology spiritual counseling) will probably need to be spoken to in their native tongue.
