Great News for Scientology

I just found out about the new Scientology video channel and I'm thrilled.

I only had a chance to glance through it, but it has so many great videos, and this REALLY communicates the essence of what it's like to be a Scientologist.

Ron's Birthday

For all I've gained from Scientology, on Ron's birthday, March 13th, I like to take time to express my gratitude.

He was an incredible man, whose love and care of others was enormous, and the gift of his legacy of spiritual technology is priceless.

European Volunteer Ministers Cavalcade

There's a Scientology Volunteer Ministers cavalcade in Slovakia right now. Slovakia is one of the most recent countries to join the European Union and at this point there are no Scientology churches in that country.

Having the cavalcade there is an important step, because the volunteers are introducing Scientology to the people of the country.

Since Scientology is based completely on the written and recorded works of L. Ron Hubbard, having Ron's works translated into the language of the country is an essential part of bringing the religion to the people of that area. The booklets you see on the table above here are chapters of the Scientology Handbook which have been translated into Slovakian. That's an important first step.

There's a pretty big translation unit in Copenhagen, which is the European headquarters of the Church, and smaller ones in various other cities in Europe, which are manned by volunteers.

Translations of Ron's works are a labor of love.

Since AOSH Europe serves all European Scientologists most of the staff there speak many languages. I'm sure if there are not already staff who speak Slovakian now, there will be soon, as anyone coming there for auditing (Scientology spiritual counseling) will probably need to be spoken to in their native tongue.

Scientology Recognized in Spain

It was a long haul, but Scientology was finally recognized in Spain in November 2007.

Spain was the scene of the most protracted legal case the Church has probably ever had. It included the arrest in the late 1980's of the President of the Church of Scientology International when he traveled to the country for a fund raising event.

In the end, the Church and all individual defendants were completely acquitted of all charges, and now the Church has been recognized as a religion in Spain.

The fact that the Church has been recognized in Spain has significance beyond its borders. Spain is a member of the European Union, and although the different countries in the Union or still sovereignties there is supposed to be a consistency among them. One of the countries recognizing the Church as a religion carries a precedent for other countries.

As Scientology has been expanding throughout the EU, this is very good news for Scientologists!

New Scientology Churches

You know there are plans now to open brand new huge Scientology churches in all cities where we have churches now?

Well there is. It's not just the Church of Scientology Berlin or the Church of Scientology London now. It's going to be the Church of Scientology EVERYWHERE!

More on Berlin

It's pretty amazing what's going on in Berlin.

There's a lot of noise, but what's really happening is real help.

That's what Scientology is all about.

That's why L. Ron Hubbard spent all those years researching how we tick and taking care to write it down, all of it, so we can benefit from what he learned.

That's why David Miscavige is so adamant about the need to apply LRH's technology.

Just a couple of hours spend in a Scientology Handbook could save you years of being upset and going farther and farther down.

And what's great about the Berlin Scienotology church is that it is so accessible to everyone who wants help.

Boy, did I dream about having a church like that when I was working on staff years ago!

Ideal Scientology Churches

With the Grand Opening of the new Church of Scientology of Berlin everyone is excited about what the next new Ideal Scientology church is going to be!

In Copenhagen, word has it that the Church of Scientology of Denmark will be next!

David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center, released Scientologists at an event a few years ago on the purpose of Ideal Scientology churches -- that they are the emenation point of a host of community activities for their entire geographic zone, plus the place anyone can go to find out what Scientology is.

As Sabine Weber, the President of the Church of Scientology of Berlin said at the grand opening, the building "not only multiplies all facilities for training and counseling in the religion, it enables the Church to bring Scientology's international social reform and betterment programs on a much larger scale to the city."
